About us

Hi there,

Welcome to our blog! You’ve found the right place.

We are two young people waiting only for the day to come when we will fly to New Zealand and start the adventure of our lives! It is the first big travel trip for both of us but we are preparing it very carefully and are open-minded and curious about all and everything. We both finished high school in june and are working hard right now to be able to pay off our trip and are planning to go to university in autumn 2013 (Yannick will go and study economics and I will study medicine – we’ve both already been accepted). However, as to get the most out of the trip and to see as much of “real New Zealand” as possible, we would love to meet and help some real Kiwi’s. We’re both very sporty and fit and would love to live some adventures (Skydiving, bungy and paragliding here we come! :D)!!

If you have any tip for us concerning what to do or where to go to, we would appreciate it very much if you could contact us. We are planning to visit the north island first (we will arrive about the 21st of november in Auckland) and the “centre of the world”, the South island, afterwards. Return date is the 11th of march. Our interests vary from all kind of sports (really!!), music, New Zealand wildlife and landscape to New Zealand and Maori history – just about everything. We are both non-smokers and are two good friends. If you could keep updating us about the happenings in our home country and within our friend’s circle, we would also be very happy. We are very much looking forward to hearing from you!!!

Cheers, Anja & Yannick

PS: Please excuse if there is some kind of language mix, but since Yannick’s mother tongue is the language of Signs and French and I am a native Swiss German speaker it is a bit complicated.. but I’m sure you’ll understand us anyway, beloved friends! ;)

  1. Salut Yannick, je découvre à l’instant ton blog et sur que cet après-midi je vais suivre les différentes aventures que tu as déjà vécues. En attendant de bonnes journées pré-Noël. À plus. Isabelle
